NEW IM FORMS

As part of the new Renfrew paramedics website revision, a new IM Form has been developed and has been launched.  Sign In to renfrewparamedics.ca to check it out.

Once you log into Renfrewparamedics.ca you will see the option of IM Forms on the Main Page.  To enter the IM Forms page, click the large tab on the main page or on the “IM Forms” drop down on the dark navigation header at the top of the site.

Previously, drop down menus gave you a variety of choices of issues. Now you will find a selection of eight (8) different IM Form options.  This added functionality now allows form administrators to direct the form to the appropriate user for resolution and closure.

Paramedics will continue to receive notifications of changes to the IM through their County emails and a copy of your historical entries is available to you on the site.

Key Revisions to Categories of forms:

  • Staff Health and Safety has been renamed to differentiate these occupational health and safety incidents affecting Paramedics or co-workers.
    • Note: Differences between Patient safety vs Staff Occupational H&S Issues. Risk of injury to yourself or co-worker is a Staff Health and Safety Issue – while risk of injury to a patient or CPRU client would be logged on the Patient/Client safety form.
  • Patient/Client Safety form has been added for patient or client safety incidents such as medication errors or near misses.
    • Note: differences between Patient Safety vs Staff Occupational H&S Issues
  • A new Violence or Harassment in the workplace form – This creates a form with limited distribution, accessible to only a few administrators and Human Resources personnel.
  • Logistic and Fleet:
    • Logistics Fleet – For vehicle, PowerStretcher, PowerLoad, ATV or Trailer Issues – Logistics and Fleet staff now have ability to close off or ask clarifying questions through the IM process.
    • Logistics Station – For station related equipment issues (i.e. hose repair)
    • Logistics Equipment and Supply – For equipment or supply related issues (i.e. LP15 malfunction, broken controlled substances)

We continue review this new website for technical issues as we migrate information from the old platform.
